Lucrezio de Seta


Rome on September, 12th 1970


In 1983 started to learn drums and percussions as well as playing with local jazz and rock bands. Three years later enters in the orchestra of the Deutsche Schule Rom under the direction of Master Hansjürgen Hörnel.
In 1990 attends to a Vinnie Colaiuta seminar, and nearly a year later Lucrezio starts to play with the prog band "Scala" featuring all-original songs.
In 1991 moves to New York to enter the DRUMMER'S COLLECTIVE, where he spends a year studying with Marvin 'Smitty' Smith, Kim Plainfield, Duduca da Fonseca, Michael Lauren, Pete Zeldman, Ricky Sebastian, Mike Clark, Frankie Malabe, Bobby Sanabria, Bob Weiner and Brian Doherty.
He also joins the master-classes of Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Hal Blaine, William Kennedy and Tony Verderosa. Lucrezio graduated in DRUMMERS COLLECTIVE on 11-17-1991. Back in Italy he has toured with Don Backy, Luca Barbarossa and NIccolò Fabi.
During 2000 he keeps touring with Luca Barbarossa and records Alex Britti's album "La Vasca" - touring extensively during all 2001.
